My new note pad....

Not the best picture I have ever taken, but you get the idea.... Even if my life depended on it - I cannot remember 'stuff'.... So we have made this (I say we, I mean Paul - the very handy man in my life!!)... I bet you want one??!! I am thinking of putting these made to order on Etsy??... what do you think?

'STIG' the ticking striped Parker Knoll....

Another ongoing TBC piece!!.... 'STIG' was found at my local dump wearing a tapestry floral number, which I have had to dispose of and replace with this simple yet effective ticking stripe.... People will have to bid high on this one.. as I know someone who has their eye on it already!!.... (I just have to finish it off... )....

Nursing Chair Progress

I am working on this gorgeous Nursing chair and I am planning on using a Celia Birtwell fabric..
'Mystic Daisy' from her Pop Story Collection.....

Initial Ideas

I love 'traditional' Upholstery - So i think this will be the main focus and inspiration???

Today was as good a day as any........

A challenge has been accepted...

The Challenge:

To team up with Macha Jewelry and host an exhibition/party in London at some point in February 2009!!....

Thus every tiny minute idea and plan i had leisurely swimming around in my head, now have to be channeled and focused into a great launch for Bedfordand6th and to hold its own in a room next to the absolutely amazing creations from Macha... and in just under 2 months!!!.....

At this stage (as the plan was newly hatched last night over skype) We have No venue, No items, no date, just lots and lots of ideas......

I decided that today would be a good time to start my Blog, so i could document our ideas and progress ( it will also help my ever decreasing memory) as the largest challenge we face would be sea and lots of land... Macha is based in Brooklyn NYC and Bedfordand6th is based in Winchester/London UK..... but we love a challenge and i think the collaboration will be a great success.....
